We study bacteriophages — viruses that infect bacteria — using genomics and bioinformatics to understand microbial life and tackle challenges such as antimicrobial resistance.
Our research spans phage genome analysis, viromics, and virus–host interactions, combining high-throughput sequencing with reproducible, open-source computational tools. We are based at the University of Leicester and are part of the Becky Mayer Centre for Phage Research , working closely with clinical and environmental partners and contributing openly to the global phage research community.
